You might have noticed a few new faces at the store . . . we have experienced a bit of the “changing of the guard“!
 
So we’d like you to get familiar with our fabulous and energetic new team: 
 
Sandy - starts the week off bright and early Monday morning (you’ll also see her Friday morning!) 
 
Kathy – you’ll see her every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 2:30pm
 
Muriel – her usual shift of Sunday and Monday afternoons is augmented now with co-hosting the Saturday gig with Sarah
 
Sarah - shares the Saturday gig with Muriel and solos Tuesday afternoon!
 
Geri - you’ll see her every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon!
 
 
And to introduce our new team lineup to all of our wonderful customers and consignors, we’ve decided to have a sale!

“Out, damned spot!”

We’ve all been in that inenviable situation when you’ve dressed for work, just about ready to walk out the door, and BAM!   You notice an inkspot on your favorite blouse . . . what to do?  If you are like me, there’s just no time to change – forget it. 

Since this just happened to me this week, I not only have done some research on the subject (of which I will share an excellent recommendation), I also welcome any and all suggestions on “how to get ink out of your favorite blouse”!

My suggestion comes from Katie Ellen in South Carolina (the self-proclaimed “Queen of Consignment”) . . . her blog posting states:

“Aerosol hairspray –  Will take ink out of cloth. Only aerosol hairspray works though (sorry ozone layer!), so don’t use the pump hairspray because it will not work!”  (http://queenofconsignment.blogspot.com/2009/12/tips-for-2010.html)

Thanks, Katie . . . anyone else have perhaps a “greener”, more environmentally-friendly solution?
